About Isabel

You will often hear me talk about the latest developments in the field of physiotherapy. This is because I have completed a master’s degree in Clinical Health Sciences and also work as a lecturer in physiotherapy at Leiden University of Applied Sciences. In my work, I am always looking for ways to refine your treatment plan to make it work optimally for you. Often, more is possible than you might think because a health problem always consists of multiple facets. I strongly believe in the interconnectedness of physical and mental health. Besides thoroughly exploring the biomedical side, I also like to explore with you which psychosocial factors influence your complaint. During my minor in ‘Interprofessional Approach to Psychosomatic Complaints’, I laid a solid foundation for this. My previous work experience has made me skilled in helping people with work-related stress and tension headaches, among other things.

About Matilde

As a physiotherapist I strive to help every individual to get as fit as possible. In my minor ‘International Minor of Sports Physical Therapy’ I studied a lot about the balance between load versus load capacity. I believe this knowledge together with my background as a personal trainer ans my ineterst in nutrition and health can help a lot. I try to develop my therapeutic view in a holostic way, so I can offer every person a tailored treatment plan.
I am a sports fanatic and be active 4-5 times per week on the volleybal pitch. I also do sports like surfing, fitness and boulderen. That is why I know very well how it is to rehabilitate and to work for fitness again.

About Max

As a physiotherapist, my goal in treatment is to combine exercise therapy, training, and ‘hands-on’ therapy as best as possible. I see my profession as a way to support and optimize the natural healing properties of the human body. I followed a minor called ‘three-dimensional kinematics of the spine’ and therefore I specialized in diagnostics and treatment of the spine and spinal-related complaints. Besides I love my job, I also love to do a lot of different sports like padel, fitness, tennis, and football.

About Michelle

Together with with my clients I always look for the best, tailored treatment. The chance of recovery increases and the chance of recurrence decreases with this mindset. Treatment can be hands-on, but also exercising and training are part of it. In my opinion fast re-activation in a responsible way is helpful for recovery of the complaints. During my study I’ve learned a lot more about physical complaints and especially spinal complaints. Because of my history of doing top sport I developed a passion for a lot of different sports and for examining and treating sport-related injuries.

About René

In my opinion, every person has the ability to recover or at least improve, but sometimes it is hard to solve that complicated puzzle. Especially this is what I like about my profession most. Knowledge and expertise are prerequisites for this. This is the reason I decided to do the Masters in Manual Therapy
after I finished my bachelor’s in physiotherapy. Once I became more skilled in manual therapy I followed some more courses related to manual therapy, for example, pediatric manual therapy and Mulligan manual therapy. I also have a great interest in the diagnostics and treatment of shoulder
complaints. The combination of ‘hands-on’ treatment and targeted training and movement makes a tailored treatment plan possible for every single person.
